In recent years we have undertaken some projects with local schools and colleges.
At the Northbrooke College we worked with the Business Studies department for a couple of years as part of the class study on marketing. We consulted with classes on marketing strategy and had the opportunity to set up a visit to one of our instrument suppliers factories to help clarify the way businesses need each other to function properly.
In 2009 we were invited by the Littlehampton Academy (then the Littlehampton School) to consult with tutors starting to teach sequential control (SFCs) to their top level ITC students in a new module. No other school in England was found to be doing this. We were very happy to help consulting and presenting to the class. The interaction with the students was excellent and encouraging to see them grasping the new and difficult principles and their applications.
